WHO WE ARE

We are Mitra Samavaki and Amir Salehi, friends, partners, and a team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Since 2019, we have collaborated as a team. Nomadic Studio was born from our shared passion for storytelling. With a decade of professional photojournalism and documentary photography experience, we specialize in capturing your special moments with authenticity and creativity.

Amir completed his BFA in photojournalism at Tehran News College in 2018. Mitra received a BFA in sculpture from Tehran University of Art in 2013 and an MFA in photography from the University of Calgary in 2023.

At Nomadic Studio, we go beyond simply taking pictures; we create visual stories to be remembered and resonate with emotion. Our commitment is to provide you with a photography experience that exceeds expectations.
